Maksat Moldabekov, Deputy chief of the Talgar Criminal Police, Symbat Taubaldieva, police Major, Saltanat Kakeevna Zhanbolatova, senior inspector of the Juvenile Police, met with students of the Talgar College of Agribusiness and Management on May 14 in order to prevent drug addiction and offenses.

During the meeting, preventive talks were held with 1st year students, during which law enforcement officials explained the dangers associated with the use of narcotic substances, as well as reminded of the responsibility for committing offenses. Special attention was paid to the formation of legal awareness among young people, responsible behavior and the importance of observing the law.

The teacher of special disciplines at Talgar College of Agribusiness and Management, Amenova Mereke Yerkebekzy, conducted an open educational hour on the theme "No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten" with students of groups 1 of the "A" and 1 of the "B" classes, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. All those present observed a minute of silence in memory of all the fallen defenders of the Motherland and all the victims of the Great Patriotic War.

The students presented poetic works, performed patriotic songs and watched documentaries about the exploits of outstanding representatives of our people.

On the initiative of the first-year students of the Talgar College of Agribusiness and Management, on May 6, 2025, a festive event "Yerlik - elge mura, urpakka - uran" was held, dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day.Director of the college Bozymbekova Dinara Bolarbekovna congratulated the men of the college on the holiday and solemnly presented Letters of thanks and Certificates of Honor from the Department of Education of the Almaty region, Akim of Talgar district, Department of Internal Policy of Talgar district, Trade union organization, as well as on behalf of the director of the college. The festive atmosphere was created by talented students and teachers, who delighted the audience with their vocal and dance performances.

As part of the "Reading College" project, Koishybekova Arailym, a teacher of special disciplines at Talgar College of Agribusiness and Management, conducted a literary lounge for 2nd-year students on the theme "Native Land in poetry", aimed at deepening knowledge about Kazakh poetry and fostering love for the Motherland.During the event, students exchanged information about the life and work of the poets, read their poems about their native land, recalled Kazakh proverbs and sayings about the Motherland, and shared their personal thoughts about their native land.
